The film is considered to be a modern take on the Western and Crime Noir genres, and it also happens to be a perfect fusion of both. Directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky, the film features Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde as a pair of siblings on the run from the authorities with a compartment full of riches and wealth. On their trail are a couple of sheriffs who happen to be father (Treat Williams) and daughter (Kate Mara). When you Watch Deadfall Online, you’ll notice that it isn’t structured like your run-of-the-mill action thriller. From the trailer alone, you can tell that it has a certain ominous tone that reeks of despair and dread, very much like No Country for Old Men. The story actually takes a rather nice twist, with the siblings separating from each other, finding their own paths to freedom, until they meet each other again at a Thanksgiving reunion which will most likely end in a blood bath.
The movie has aroused the praise of critics everywhere, stating that it’s a movie that’s bound to leave you breathless, which only makes you want to Watch Deadfall Online even more. There’s bound to be a few set pieces which will wow you, especially a shoot out at the rugged snowy terrains of Canada, and the climax, which is as violent as you would expect, almost channeling Quentin Tarantino at times. In fact, the story progression is almost similar to Pulp Fiction, wherein you get to see things unfold through the perspective of multiple characters who are bound to cross paths in the end.
